The last day of the exhibition. Time to wake up!
…but we will guide you through this passage gently.
We start with the performative lecture of Anna Anus: „Hygiene and Dirt, Cleanliness and Stains”. We will talk about hygiene and dirt, i.e. what concerns each and every one of us, all-generationally. It will be about anatomy, body parts and getting to know one's own carnal taboos. About the relationship between hygiene and the state. We will remember our hygiene habits and look for healthier alternative, more beneficial for the common wellbeing.
Than we will explore the geographies of growing up with Frances Breden from COVEN Berlin. How the differences in cultural, social and natural landscapes influenced the way who have we become?
The girlhood’s tracks in Vancouver would be stretched between moving stairs in shopping malls and kayak waterways, in Poznan between Półwiejska street and squares of concrete. With the help of drawing and an overhead projector Fran will take us on a mental journey into girlhoods’ memory maps.
For the dessert we will treat you with visual goodies in form of photos and videos from the already historical sleepovers at the Arsenal gallery. We will try not to forget our collective story; written, performed, dreamt, told and re-told by many at the same time, in the same space.
