We are pleased to invite you to another series of Saturday family workshops - Family Encounters with Art. Taking place once a month, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., they are addressed to children aged 5-10 years, who are welcome with their guardians. Meetings are conducted each time by a different artist/educator.
In December, we invited Filip Brzyski, already known for his classes at the Children's Drawing Mini Festival, which enjoyed tremendous popularity. The children, together with their carers, will spend their time creatively in the gallery space, taking part in scheduled artistic activities.
As soon as December appears in the calendar, kids await Santa Claus, stars and snow. These elements make up wintertime. December and whiteness - we have snow in our minds right away, but is it just snow? Although physicists probably have the most to say about it, artists also have a lot of experience in this respect. So let's see for ourselves what all this whiteness is about. During the workshops we will create paintings based on the colour white and its derivatives.
Filip Brzyski – an active sculptor, pottery designer, founder of BRZYSKI brand, creator of scenery for Automaton Theatre performances, more recently co-author of sets for operas Pagliacci and Gianni Schicchi staged at Teatr Wielki in Poznań. A graduate of the University of Arts in Poznań at the Faculty of Artistic Education with a specialization in Sculpture and Spatial Activities. A dreamer, he loves working with children, not excluding playing with mud during holiday camps. He is constantly looking for inspiration in the world for his unforgettable workshops.
