only seen with the lights turned off
this feeling of immersing
dreaming space
underneath
night in the middle of the day
being in liquid space-time where micro movements can be perceived
sound, darkness, light, presence, images
the softening of the shapes sharpens the senses
light is wondering on the walls
the form smoothly changes its shape
the mind slowly falls asleep and the dream awakens
accidental poetry
dreaming improvisation.
‘Swimming at Dusk’ is an audiovisual space where the dreaminess of light forms mingles with the abstract narratives of ambient and field recordings, so that the tissues of the mind, which analyse on a daily basis, can distract and dream for a while.
Take a flashlight and see what’s hiding in the darkness. There is nothing but a soundscape on the horizon until you appear and start dreaming in it
horizons
just before sunrise
night in the middle of the day
We invite you to a space,
where you can swim at dusk
daydream
notice, how dense is the dream
which is happening
when we silence the reality of the day and
we enter the darkness of the night.
Take the colours from the table, use the flashlight from your phone,
go inside and see what is hiding in the dark.
Move freely around the space.
Follow the clues.
Explore.
We propose playing with perspective, moving away and getting closer.
Give time to yourself.
And to what wants to emerge in your presence.
