Mehtap Baydu treats the body as a fundamental, primal means of expression, viewing it as a point of reference. Aniela Kokosza, a dancer and dance therapist, shares a similar perspective on physicality, seeing it as a key element in shaping our everyday identity. During a movement practice inspired by Mehtap Baydu’s work, we will observe the body’s reactions, seek enjoyment in naturally following our needs and desires, and soothe the nervous system. We will converse with one another and others, but not through words. We will be accompanied by intibag sensory cocoons, which are transparent, soft, hugging bags in which one can rest and experience one’s own physicality in a slightly different, creative way.
