In our heads we deal with clouds of meanings, a blaze of colours, long stories, feelings, likes and dislikes, while before our eyes is a simple black shape. Graphic signs surround us everywhere. Every day, we encounter them in shops, on the streets and on screens. Why does everyone use them, and do they really mean something more?

In the logo design workshops, we will consider what it is all about. Why do we like some things and dislike others. We will begin with the simplest forms to analyse and explore their potential. A line, a circle and a square will become our building blocks for constructing entire stories in the smallest possible form. Using simple shapes, we will describe the weather, our feelings, our character and the city in which we live. We will try to give ideas a shape and tell stories without words. We will also endeavour to find universal forms and attempt to anticipate how others will interpret the signs we create together. Everyone will leave the workshop with a simple image telling a story, and the journey through the city will never be the same again; from then on, we will see more!
