Adults are invited to a movement and dance workshop with live music, taking place on the premises of a painting exhibition. We will use a variety of dance techniques, improvisation and art therapy practices.
The body enables us to feel the world around us, to react and act on our own to bring about change. The body helps, protects and moves forward. Through contemporary dance techniques we will delve deeper into this movement, learning to become more aware of the support in our body, its inner connections and capacities.
In addition, through dance we will build connections to the outer space, inspired by the artworks on display in the gallery. Accompanied by live music performed by multi-instrumentalist Mandar Purandare, we will combine all these elements into one flow of the sensuality of being. Create your own movement music!
