A meeting dedicated to the 8th Triennale of Young Artists in Orońsko

The Triennale of Young Artists is the oldest Polish review of young art organized by the Center of Polish Sculpture in Orońsko since 1991. Its eighth edition was held in a modified formula as the Open Triennial (from 25/09/2017 to 6/01/2018). Instead of a traditional presentation of works, the event focused on creating a platform for free exchange and discussion regarding, among others, the condition, criteria and opportunities for young artists today to develop their careers, regardless of systemic constraints or through the creation of ways of bypassing them. The co-curators: Tomek Pawłowski and Romuald Demidenko together with the participants: Liliana Piskorska and Tobiasz Jędrak will talk about the concept, course and results of the symposium. The meeting will moreover provide an opportunity to promote the publication accompanying the Triennial, a special edition titled Nadchodzi czas [The time is nigh] of the Orońsko quarterly.
