The collection of Arsenał Municipal Gallery contains three works by Izabella Gustowska from the Relative Similarities series (1979, 1980). In the first part of the conversation, the artist will talk about this series, its history, complex structure, and the female protagonists. Next, we will address the topicality of her fascinations from years ago and how the key themes of Relative Similarities, such as affinity between women, recurred in the artist's subsequent work. Finally, the artist will present her latest project, a film shot on the premises Zamek Culture Centre in Poznań, titled Non-Relative Similarities.
