On the anniversary of the dramatic events of the anti-Semitic campaign taking place in Poland we want to look at what happened in March 1968 through the eyes of those who were the most affected. But it is us, Poles, who need to come to terms with this period of our history in our conscience. We need to ask about the social atmosphere conducive to anti-Semitism 50 years ago and its resurgence now. We must ask questions about the role of the visual arts which have addressed the guilt of Polish society whose statue of limitation has not run out and about the fate of the March émigrés.
