Join us for an olfactory workshop focused on forest scents, during which we will learn about the powers of forest resins and apply them to make a preparation which will serve as the base for our olfactory roll-ons. During the meeting we will learn to explore and speak to the scents of the Trees, our Sylvan Persons: pine, black spruce, balsam fir, Douglas fir, cedars, Ho tree, etc. In the workshop, we will use ethically sourced resinous components and essences so that our compositions are suitably varied and tailored to individual olfactory sensitivities. We will learn how scent impacts emotions, how to analyse the relationships between scents, how to sniff, identify, name, and remember scents and compose healing preparations on our own.

Moderation: Małgorzata Szaefer - a graduate of aromatherapy and numerous perfume-making courses (e.g. with Dora Goldsmith, Smell Lab in Berlin, Alchemies of Scent in Prague, Illuminated Parfume in Santa Fe), curator and researcher of outsider art, president of the Lue Lu / Brut Now Foundation, member of the European Outsider Art Association. Total fan of Fragrances of the World, the Kodo fragrance road, and outsider art.
