The meeting will discuss the publication of Happy Family. A Mental Health Guidebook and the exhibition titled Happy Family, A Home Counselling Centre by Karolina Balcer. It will provide an opportunity to reflect on the status of mental health policy in Polish society. We will talk about its systemic challenges and limitations, how personal experiences of (co-)addiction translate into labile mental states and consider what function the art world can play in destigmatising mental and social crises (e.g. the crisis of homelessness).
