Goodbye Gauley Mountain: An Ecosexual Love Story is an autobiographical documentary about the romance of artists: Beth Stephens and Anna Sprinkle with the Appalachian Mountains in West Virginia, where one of the authors was born. The film is an expression of opposition to the devastating environment of mining activity in this region, consists of conversations with members of the rural community, eco-activists, environmentalists, family and friends, with those for whom the land means not only a reservoir of natural resources.
