Natural methods of dyeing fabrics have been known for whole millennia; their formulas help to achieve durable and original colours. This makes each resulting object special and completely unique. Over time, natural dyes change and wane under the influence of light and water. This is part of a natural, cyclical process. During the workshop, participants will learn about how to dye fabrics naturally, learn about dye plants, as well as ethical methods of sourcing raw materials. Each person will then make a design on a cotton tote bag.
