Join us in an unusual world of the art of gilding. The workshop will be an extraordinary opportunity to learn old and new gilding techniques under the guidance of an experienced master gilder. We will draw on the experience of generations of gilders, continuing the priceless tradition of the old masters of the craft. Participants will be provided with the materials necessary to gild a painter's primer, which they will eventually paint in beautiful patterns. We will use gold flakes, Schlagmetal, stencils, gold and coloured paints during the workshop exercises to achieve spectacular results. The encounter of enthusiasts will be a lesson in patience and an enhanced sensitivity to beauty. Objects made during the workshop can become a nice souvenir or a perfect gift for friends.
