Extinction Rebellion is a socio-political movement protesting against politicians' passiveness towards climate change. The hourglass, the symbol of the movement, reminds us that we have less and less time left to prevent the extinction of species, including the human being. Extinction Rebellion is famous for its radical actions which, as a gesture of civil disobedience, annex public space and stop vehicular traffic in the city. During the tour we will learn about the demands and methods of Extinction Rebellion, talk about how we can express our emotions and speak out on issues that affect the lives of all of us in a situation when those in power remain deaf to our arguments.
