The first in the series of mindful walks in the open, a creative variation on the theme of forest bathing in urban conditions. Following our motto, we will look not only for the mindfulness and relaxation that come from spending time in the open, but also for the relations we can establish with nature through artistic activities using natural materials.
What are forest baths?
Shinrin-yoku is a form of mindful walking that aims to reduce stress through attentive contact with the forest environment. They are also possible in the urban context, though they will be slightly different from typical forest walks, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. However, research confirms that even this form of practice is effective in reducing stress and has a positive effect on our wellbeing.
