What can be done with old rungs from a child's bed and a baggy t-shirt? How did children spend time playing together in the past? How to create a story that others will want to listen to? We will look for answers to these and other questions in the course of classes titled Stories hidden in wood, cloth and cardboard, discovering creative ways to cope with wintertime weather and boredom.
The five-day series of workshops for children aged 7-10 is led by a team of animators and educators from the Zieleniak and Sagan Sag projects and Tomek Stolarz z Lasu. The moderators have collaborated for a few years, implementing educational projects and programs integrating local communities. They like to share their knowledge and skills, also in the DIY formula. They love to spin stories about what is important and to combine different aspects in action.
