The Kamishibai is a storytelling and reading art originating in Japan. The technique uses cardboard charts with illustrations and a wooden butai box, which resembles a marionette theatre. The illustrations tell stories, each chart representing another section of them. The heroine of our performance will be Simona Kossak, a naturalist, friend of wild animals, author of numerous books about them, and protector of the Białowieża Forest.
