The aim of the workshops is to use staring as a tool for creative work.

The familiar Polish expression describing someone’s state as being “detached from reality” will be used to capture the imagination pulsating within this state. We will try to help those unable to “detach themselves” yet willing to do so to enter this state.

We will kick off with a tour of Zbigniew Rogalski’s exhibition and a short discussion about it. Afterwards, we will create works inspired by the paintings on display at the exhibition. This will be both an exercise in exploring the possibilities available to us in different internal states and a process of learning how to develop our own personal opinions about art.
