REGISTRATION CLOSED
Winter holiday workshops is a series of five morning sessions. The program is designed for children aged 7–9. Admission is on a first-come, first-served basis. Enrolment involves participation in the full cycle of workshops, from Monday through Friday.
Each day, two instructors will lead different activities covering new themes, including arts and crafts, movement, and team-building exercises. Light snacks are offered during the break. As all our activities are free of charge, the workshops are also open to kids from less privileged backgrounds.
The creative workshop series In My Room is a week-long journey into the world of home decorations and practical little items that can transform any room into a unique, personal space. Participants will explore a variety of artistic and craft techniques—from modelling with clays and pastes, through scrapbooking, to designing shrink plastic decorations. Each day, they will create a completely new, one-of-a-kind item to take home, helping organize their space while adding style and coziness. Expect a colourful, creative, and very “homey” experience!

Fimo Foto-Magia: picture frames and magnets
During the workshop, we will decorate picture frames and create colourful magnets using FIMO modelling clay. Children will learn techniques for shaping, colour mixing, and hardening the clay. It’s the perfect way to preserve memories and add a splash of colour to their space.
February 24
Cuddly Cushion: design your own cushion
That day the participants will design and create their own cushions in their favourite colours. The session will showcase basics of textile design and the participants will get a personal cuddly item to be had in their private rooms.
February 25
The Magic Garland: scrapbooking and pompom decorations
We will create colourful garlands that can transform any space! Participants will use scrapbooking techniques and learn how to make fluffy pom-poms, designing unique decorations perfect for a desk, bed, or shelf.
February 26
Keychain Frenzy: kumihimo braiding
On this day, children will learn the Japanese cord braiding technique known as kumihimo. They will create colourful keychains and charms that can decorate keys, backpacks, or pencil cases. A wonderful mix of fun and concentration practice!
February 27
Window Magics: shrink sheet decorations
The winter holiday workshop will conclude with making transparent and colourful shrink sheet decorations. In this workshop, we will turn simple drawings into fantastic miniature decorations. Participants will draw their own designs on special shrink film, then cut them out and prepare them for a “magical” transformation in the oven. In just a few moments, they will become sturdy, shiny ornaments that can hang in a window and sparkle in the light like little varicoloured talismans.
