We invite organized school groups to participate in art workshops accompanying the Monika Chlebek exhibition.
The art of Monika Chlebek thematises the connection between man and nature, mainly between humans and animals. An important role in Chlebek's paintings is moreover played by plants and landscape elements understood not as views, but rather as active participants in our shared reality.
In the workshop, we would like to focus on this hybrid approach to people, animals and nature in a broad sense, by combining these elements in the form of a collage.
Collage is a technique that allows you to freely combine seemingly distant and divergent images in a non-obvious way with a view to generating new meanings.
We will put together various images, materials and textures to create our own imaginary worlds.
An important element of the work will be not only their visual aspect, but also their reception through the sense of touch. In this way, we will create works that can be received and perceived not only in the traditional manner, by our sight, but also by touch, which is an equally important sense in the perception of nature and other people.
