In March, we invite children with adult carers to a workshop on folk art. During the meeting we will make traditional folk decorations called spiders (pająki). The workshops will be led by Ms. Jadwiga Anioła, who has been involved in folk art for many years, preparing not only "spiders", but also harvest wreaths, kraszanki Easter eggs, and ceremonial bread, such as Easter buns. Each participant will receive materials needed to make a spider. During the classes, Jadwiga will talk about the history of "spiders", the customs related to their creation and their purpose. We encourage you to make your own "spider" and hang it in your house, in line with the folk proverb "happy the home where spiders galore".
