In this workshop we will talk about old traditional toys made from natural materials. A short presentation will show pictures of children's dolls, art dolls and magic dolls; examples from the Pilsen Puppet Museum will be our inspiration. We will talk about what a doll is and what a puppet and a cuddly are. We will make small puppets with bean heads on a wire structure, using fabric and yarn. You will also be able to make small puppets with natural materials on a stick and wire construction.

Making your own toys is more fun, gives you great satisfaction and the chance to have even more than usual fun. You will see this for yourselves by taking the puppets you have made home with you. In the gallery, we will play together to create little characters, and at the end of the class we might be able to make a mini production.
