Straw braiding workshops help acquire specific skills and are a great time spent working with your own hands! All participants will braid their own straw items, such as a bowl, a tray or a pot cover, but not only those, as straw is pliable and offers many possibilities. Rye straw, hand-cut, captivates us with its natural beauty, scent and golden colour. We will braid using the spiral technique that allows you to create unique patterns based on the traditional skills of Polish artisans. In addition, we will weave into the straw colourful threads that will colour and diversify every braid.

At work, we will use, among others special braiding needles designed in a Cieszyn craft workshop. Braiding is a very relaxing activity that allows you to focus on the work of your own hands and at the same time relax. We do not need experience to participate in the workshop; we will learn everything from scratch. Remember - braiding is for everyone!

The meeting will be enhanced with a presentation of photos and videos about braiding journeys around Poland and abroad.
