We will focus on active work with the "moving image", its construction, editing and forms of embodiment. We will draw inspiration from pop culture and the ways in which technologies modify movement - for example, through gifs, boomerangs, smartphones, tablets, and self sticks. We will launch cinematographic strategies such as working with frames, shots, cutting, or editing. How is the body mediated and how does it become an image? How, starting from the experience of a living body, can we look at the ways of presenting it? We will examine the relations between the gaze and the body in motion. How do our bodies move when they are seen, grabbed by the eye of a camera? How can we play actively with being seen?
