REGISTRATION IS CLOSED
During the day camp, the children will embark on an extraordinary journey to the Land of Imagination, where each day they will discover new artistic techniques and creative ways of expressing themselves. The guiding theme of all activities will be the development of creativity, the stimulation of imagination, and the creation of one’s own unique worlds full of colour, adventure, and dreams.
Participants will travel through successive regions of this exceptional land, from a mysterious forest, through fantastical kingdoms and an enchanted zoo, to space voyages and a rocket of dreams. Each day will bring new challenges and inspirations, and a variety of materials and techniques will help children develop manual skills, creative thinking, and self-confidence.
The shared aim of all activities will be to show children that imagination knows no bounds and that seemingly ordinary materials one can create extraordinary works. From the meetings held during this week, participants will take away not only their own handmade artworks, but also a wealth of beautiful memories from an artistic journey through the Land of Imagination.
Agenda:
Monday
On the first day of the activities, the children will create images using reindeer moss and plant materials, as well as decorative elements. The composition is intended to resemble a real forest as closely as possible; therefore, while arranging the materials, the participants will recreate clearings, trees, and woodland corners. On this occasion, the children will get to know the plants and animals found in Polish forests. The outcome will be unique, three-dimensional compositions which will serve as a beautiful memento of the workshops.
Tuesday
On this day, we will create colourful decorations using yarn, polystyrene balls and other decorative elements – pompons and fanciful figures will be made. This is a creative activity developing manual skills and imagination. Each participant will take home a self-made work.
Wednesday
Using paper, paints, crayons and modelling clay, participants will create their own fairytale world: castles, dragons, unicorns, and space cities. Sky is the limit for the participants’ imagination. The result will be colourful and unique works of art, and in addition each child will make a figurine of an animal from the enchanted zoo.
Thursday
A balloon extravaganza – colourful balloons are both decorations and a material for creating extraordinary works! During the workshop, children will learn how to form funny animals, flowers, swords and many other fanciful shapes from balloons. Who knows, perhaps we will build a spaceship out of balloons and embark on a space journey? These are joyful, laughter-filled activities that enhance creativity, manual dexterity and imagination.
Friday
Piñata time! On the final day of our summer camp, we will create colourful piñatas and face masks depicting fairy-tale characters or favourite animals. In addition, we will build a dream rocket and fill it with wishes. This will be a creative activity encouraging positive thinking. The finished rocket will become a symbol of a journey towards children’s dreams.
