Another workshop in the series for kids aged 5-10 years with carers *

Can you imagine a plate in the shape of a butterfly or a dragonfly? Have you seen a bowl shaped like a lady bug or a bee? Under the watchful eye of an experienced instructor, everyone, big and small, will learn the basics of working with clay, discover interesting modelling techniques and create their own imaginative work.

Join us for a ceramic workshop, during which we will create a plate in the shape of an insect of your choice: a butterfly, a bee, a beetle, or a dragonfly. The participants will make plates based on their own designs or will use a template. They will learn how to form rollers, create objects from sheets and combine individual clay elements. The presenter will demonstrate different ways of combining clay elements and the successive stages of making a plate.

This is a great opportunity to stimulate your imagination, spend time together and create something completely unique. No experience is necessary; set your inquisitive mind in motion and be willing to play with others.

The participants will pick up their biscuit-fired objects after the workshop. **

* The carers accompany the children throughout the workshop.

** After the workshop the participants leave their objects to be kiln-fired. The objects can be picked up at the gallery roughly two weeks later.
